Peace, Seven & Anchor Paper Mache

Things Needed:
Chipboard
Tape
Scissors
Paper
Glue
Sandpaper
Paint
Paintbrush
Optional:
(waterproof paper mache)
Wax or Candle
Blower

1. Make two symmetrical peace sign, seven and anchor cut-outs.
2-4. Cut a long strip of chipboard, width vary on how thick you want the paper mache.
Tape it in between the cut-outs. Around any curves that are on the cut-outs.
Notice how I used a thicker chipboard on the peace sign?
Hehe, it's because I want the thing to double as a coaster :p

 1. Okay, I did went overboard with taping xD
2. Cut paper into strips. Next, is to make the paper paste. Just mix glue with water.
Or you can also use flour mix with water and a bit of salt.
3. Let it half-dry and do a second layer.
4. Dry the paper mache completely.

1. Once dried, use your fine sand paper to get a smooth finish.
2. Paint and set aside to dry.
3. Rub the candle or wax over the entirety of the paper mache.
4. Blowdry to seal in the wax and melt it all over the paper mache and viola~
It is now waterproof and can be use as a coaster!
